The United States Olympic Committee has partnered with AssureSign to replace its outdated contracting process of paper and faxes with a secure and efficient electronic signature platform.
Paperwork attends to nearly every activity at the two training centers maintained by the USOC in Colorado Springs, Colo. and Lake Placid, N.Y. Waivers, codes of conduct and demographic surveys all must be completed and filed. This is in addition to the legally binding documents, called Games forms, that must be sent to every athlete, coach or staff member attending the Olympic, Paralympic, Pan-American or ParaPan-American Games.
AssureSign was chosen for the USOC’s paperless implementation because of AssureSign’s integration with Microsoft Dynamics, already used by the USOC. AssureSign’s software also made it easy to onboard new users , and processes that once took weeks to complete were wrapped up in a matter of days.
Moreover, the USOC’s improved processes have caught the attention of other sports organizations, who frequently follow the USOC’s example and reach out to it for advice and recommendations.
AssureSign’s chief executive, David Brinkman, is a member of the board of directors for the Electronic Signature & Records Association.
